The staff was very helpful. The room was brand new and tastefully decorated. The room had a TV. Newspapers were available. The room had a refrigerator or microwave. The breakfast was delicious and satisfactory. There were decent coffee and hot options. There was cake for every taste.

I love Marriott but this hotel is in rough shape and the value is minimal.

Overall, this hotel is in need of a remodeling or a sale to choice hotels. The staff member that attended to me had a cold uncaring attitude.

I truly enjoyed my stay at the Best Western Independence Kansas City. The hotel was of good standard and exceptionally comfortable. The pool was heated, the staff was great and courteous. The rooms were spotless and relaxing, equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, TV, and newspapers. Its location was excellent, being close to the stadium, restaurants, and the medical center.

The staff was super nice and firendly..the room was clean and the bed and pillows were really comfortable. Highly recommend this place!!!

The room here is brand new, nicely decorated, has a comfy bed and pillows, along with a huge bathroom, and very very helpful staff, while the location is amazing and excellently close to the stadium.

The room had enough space for a wheelchair to move around. The hotel is located in a secluded spot just outside the main Kansas City area. It was convenient that there was a McDonald's within a 10-15 minute walk, perfect for grabbing food on the go.

Room was incredibly comfortable. Huge bathroom with a large counter. Beds were comfortable as well as the chairs. The breakfast was great and plentiful. Eggs, sausage, 4 cereals, muffins, whole and 2% milks, orange and apple juices and more. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Entire place was clean and comfortable as well. Wish we would have had time to experience the indoor pool. It looked inviting but we had a long trip ahead of us and no time.

No dedicated pet rooms, $50 charge because they had to deep clean the room after a pet stay. Puppy sent the night in the truck. Not a lot of parking but was still able to get my 03 Ram quad cab long bed plus my huge trailer in the lot. If there were more than a couple of people with trailers they would have been in the street. Part of the parking lot was not well lit.

The receptionist, Kim, was very friendly and immediately saw to our requests for additional towels, blankets, and a crib for the room. She served us with a smile the entire time. The complimentary breakfasts were diverse and delicious.

Tasty breakfast 🍳 and good coffee, they even have cake! Plus, they serve hot options. The staff is super friendly and really helpful, making the service here excellent.
